Canon MAXIFY MB5320 Drivers Download
Canon MAXIFY MB5320 Drivers Download – Canon has a wide range of printers that meet the needs of different users-from home consumers to graphic designers and office workers. But what sector the company feels has not been discussed quite well is the small office/Home Office (SOHO) and Small Business (SMB) users. The company has a range of PIXMA models designed for this market.
At $400, Maxify’s MB5320 multifunction printer (MFP) – Flagship model – is priced at the top end of the SOHO/SMB market, and is definitely targeted at business users. However, the same features that make it appealing to business users also make it just as appealing to home users who do a lot of heavy-duty printing and copying. If you operate a business from home, MB5320 can serve double duty to work and play – and that premium prices can pay off in the end.
Features and design
Since Maxify is a new line of inkjet printers, Canon gives it a fresh look that is a better fit with a small office environment. The MB5320 is a sleek but large black cube with a rounded top edge, measuring 18.3 x 18.1 inches and standing 13.9 inches tall. It weighs in less than 29 pounds; It’s not so heavy that you can’t take or wear a table, but it doesn’t mean compact.
MB5320’s flip-Out ADF has a capacity for 30 sheets and provides a duplex one-Pass, which means it can scan both sides of the document simultaneously – no need to manually flip the page. One-Pass duplexing does not only accelerate the scanning process (especially if you have multiple double-sided pages to scan), but also minimize the appearance of the Jams feed. The scanner has an optical resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi, which is lower than many of the less expensive ones we have tested; For business users, the resolution is sufficient to send faxes, copy, or even scan optical character recognition (OCR) software. However, a higher resolution is required if you need to enlarge the scanned documents while keeping the quality good.
The control panel has a large 3-inch color touch screen next to the typical MFP button. The majority of controls are handled through the screen. On the home screen, you’ll find commands to copy, scan, fax, and cloud. Recognizing that today’s users are increasingly relying on the cloud as a delivery method for digital documents, the Cloud functionality plays a large role in this printer.
To use the capabilities of Cloud, devices must be connected (wired or wireless) to the Internet over a network. This is easy to do by registering your device with the Canon IJ Cloud server First, and you can then print from a smartphone or tablet using Maxify Printing Solutions (MPS) for iOS or Android. MPS allows you to print directly from Cloud services such as Dropbox, Facebook, and Twitter. You can print wirelessly from a mobile device with Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, or Wi-Fi Direct print.
One of the features that you won’t find in AIOs consumers is the usage record. It provides the number of printed pages, faxes, copies, and scanned. In the Office settings, this feature allows printers or IT administrators to analyze usage; It also allows the peanut counter company to charge the printing back to the department. This is not an important feature for families (unless you need to monitor excessive printing activity for your child) or one-or two-person home business, but this is a feature that is sought after for large companies.
For connectivity, MB5320 provides the standard RJ-11 phone Jack for fax, Ethernet, USB, and Wi-Fi. There is a secondary USB port located on the front, but it is used to print from or scan to a flash drive. Since it’s not a home printer, MB5320 doesn’t have a memory card reader.
Because MB5320 is not a photo printer, using a basic four-color ink tank (CMYK)-is available in standard (PGI-2200) and high-capacity cartridges (PGI-2200XL). The standard Cartridge costs $30 for black and $25 for each color (Cyan, Magenta, and yellow); The approximate result is 1,000 pages for black and between 600 and 815 pages for color inks. High-capacity cartridges are rated at around 2,500 pages for black, and between 1,295 and 1,755 pages for color; The black XL cartridge costs about $35, while the color cartridge runs around $28.
